Your track record is a shop.
Can people passing by tell what's inside?
I help senior people, and the organisations they work in, dress the window and keep the light on, by working out what they're known for online and what they should be known for next.
I'm Vivi Koroma Kala. 16 years in marketing, 5 of them growing the Squiggly Careers podcast from 100,000 downloads to 5.6 million.
That work now shows up behind 3 doors.
…or see all 3 doors below:
For organisations whose people are growing into bigger roles, or moving into something new.
You get sessions that help your leaders tell a clear story about what they think, so their online reputation keeps pace with their role.
Built around the career moments that matter: promotion, joining a leadership team, returning from leave, and change.
For senior people at a turning point, whose online profile undersells their impact.
You get a story that's yours to own and a plan to prove it, so the right people find the right version of you before your next move.
Most people book ahead of a promotion, a board role, or a new venture. One-to-one, 4 people a month, in 12-week cycles.
"Having participated in business coaching programs, and being a mentor myself, I found Your Story Edit experience beyond all my expectations."
Diego Mandelbaum, CEO, Nomad Initiatives
For event organisers who want the talk people are still quoting on Thursday.
You get one idea, told well enough that your audience repeats it. Teams can also book lunchtime workshops on storytelling.
Workshops are a way for teams to try the work, to see what a longer session could look like, before committing to anything bigger.
"The way someone turns up and the energy they bring is half the job, and Vivi was fantastic. She came with genuine knowledge, generosity, and humility."
James Sandbrook, Co-founder, The Marketing Meetup
Meet Vivi
I notice things. Then I tell you what they mean.
The throwaway line in a conversation, or the detail in the margins, is usually where the thread of a story is hiding, and pulling on it is most of my job.
Sarah Ellis described me in 3 words once: curious, creative, collaborative. I'd add a fourth, which is curator.
Most work arrives scattered: a messy brief, half of somebody else's idea, a stack of books, 40 open tabs, unfinished ideas for a post.
What I'm good at is finding the shape in all of that and turning it into a story that sticks.
I also take on a small number of fractional marketing roles. If that's what you need, send me an email here.
